about Zoe Louise

Zoe Louise Bowen Therapy Stroud Gloucestershire

Zoe has worked in the Health and Fitness Industry since 2001, after qualifying as a Fitness Advisor and Lifestyle Consultant with YMCA and Focus Training where she specialised as a Personal Training Instructor.

Over the years Zoe has gained further qualifications within the industry and has gone on to train as a Premier Active IQ Personal Trainer, Circuits, Kettlebells, Padwork, TRX Suspension Training and Pilates Instructor.

She has recently just completed a two year Higher Education Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery & Health Professions Access to Physiotherapy Qualification.

She is also qualified as a Power Plate Certified Trainer. It has been over the last few years that Zoe has been focusing her studies on rehab treatments and has been working with clients to help rebuild their fitness levels and recuperate after surgery or injury.

Zoe was first introduced to Bowen when she was looking to obtain work experience within the physio industry, after receiving Bowen treatment herself a few times she began looking into this alternative therapy which is said to revolutionize the future of health care and pain management.

Zoe has two years experience and has run two Bowen Therapy Clinic’s in Oxfordshire, on one site she was working alongside a busy team of physiotherapy’s many who referred their clients onto Zoe for Bowen Therapy maintenance which we recommend having every 6 weeks. The other clinic was based within a retirement home where Zoe would deal with clients who had been dealing with pain for years and had put their daily pain down to wear and tear on the body along with old age.

Zoe has a multitude of disciplines under her belt, along with a life time of experience in how the body works as a machine, she is continually expanding her knowledge and does regular continuous professional development (cpd) courses each year to help build on the expertise she already has as well as developing further understanding by learning new skills.

Zoe studied through the College of Bowen Studies – Fascia Release Technique and qualified as an Accredited Practitioner of the Bowen Technique in July 2016.
